UPROAR OVER BROKE COUNCIL'S US$50K FOREIGN TRIP

Chiredzi residents and disgruntled workers have expressed concern over a planned trip to South Korea by its council chairperson and two junior councillors scheduled for next month.

The proposed trip comes amid failure by the local authority to pay over 200 workers their salaries in the past three months.

The least paid council employee earns US$150.
