Government has repealed the announcement of Advocate Ray Hamilton Goba as the country’s Prosecutor General.
The repeal is contained in general notice 642 of 2017 in an extraordinary government gazette published today.
General notice 493 published in an extraordinary government gazette dated 13th of September this year had announced Advocate Goba’s appointment as Prosecutor General replacing Johannes Tomana who was removed for abuse of office.
The notice of repeal was signed by the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda.
