A Norton woman has strangled her two children after a furious row with her mother in Norton.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police is now investigating the murder of the toddlers.
In a statement, police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said the toddlers, aged one and 3 years were killed by their mother, in Damafalls suburb of Norton on Saturday.
The 24-year old mother is said to have had an altercation with her mother and was chased away from the family residence in Maridale.
She then took her two children with her and later strangled them. The woman handed herself to police after committing the crime.
Senior Assistant Commissioner Charamba said it is disturbing that police have recorded several cases of a similar nature and urged people to seek counselling when faced with challenges.
