Acting President Phelekezela Mphoko says the planned
arrest of the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education,
Professor Jonathan Moyo is part of a bigger ploy
to destabilise government.
Speaking just after the hand-over of chicks to the Mpopoma community, Mphoko said it is unfortunate that some senior government officials wanted to cause a scene and have Minister Moyo arrested without following the proper procedures of dealing with senior government officials.
Recently, Mphoko noted with concern that the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) has within its ranks some people who are wanted on criminal charges in other African countries, an indication that the commission needs to be reconstituted.
